The University of Washington (UW) School of Pharmacy is proud to introduce you to its very first pharmacy dedicated to helping people improve their health through medication education and assistance.
UW Pharmacy Cares is a campus-community collaboration aimed to develop, evaluate, and provide training on innovations in pharmacy practice that promote improved health and well being.
The mission of UW Pharmacy Cares is to facilitate sustainable advances in pharmacy practice and assure our graduates are trained to provide these state of the art services. UW Pharmacy Cares is committed to service, education, community outreach, practice advancement, and scholarship. We accomplish this by:
1. Developing, piloting, and sharing pharmacy practice innovations
2. Training students and other pharmacy professionals in advanced practice models
3. Collaborating with the practice community
