The School of Pharmacy is committed to fostering an environment free from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, and a culture of equal opportunity and respect for all individuals.
What is a bias incident?
A bias incident involves any discriminatory act against an individual or a group based on their age, religion, disability (physical or mental), race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, veteran status, socioeconomic status, or any other identity. We acknowledge experiencing this type of incident can be painful, and you may not know how to process it or what to do.
If you are not sure whether something is bias or misconduct, you are encouraged to contact the SOP advocates. The SOP Advocates will help you navigate different options and resources. Everything you share with the Advocates will be kept strictly confidential unless you give permission for them to share it. Contacting the advocates will not trigger a formal report or investigation.
