Actions that build a sense of inclusion and cohesion within the UWSOP community, fostering grass roots activities and highlighting relevant news and ideas through multiple communication channels.

Curriculum & Policy

Recommend changes to School policies and curricula that engender a less biased and more equitable environment, more inclusive and effective teaching practices, and (in collaboration with the Curriculum Committee) the removal of erroneous or harmful material from the curriculum.

Recruitment, Retention, & Professional Development

Actions that make the School’s workforce and student population more diverse and representative of broader society, and that give all community members the support necessary to thrive and excel.


Training activities for current and incoming students, staff and faculty, to establish expectations and to equip members of the School to act in thoughtful, inclusive, anti-racist and supportive ways towards one another.
