Welcome to the Department of Pharmacy

Welcome to the University of Washington Department of Pharmacy. The Department of Pharmacy is one of three academic departments within the School of Pharmacy. The other two academic departments are Pharmaceutics and Medicinal Chemistry.

Mission and Vision

The Pharmacy faculty is responsible for teaching the practice-related portion of the professional pharmacy or PharmD curriculum. We have an established graduate program in pharmaceutical outcomes research and policy (PORPP). The department supports general and specialized pharmacy residencies, and research fellowships in select areas of pharmacotherapeutics.
