Adam Brothers, PharmD

Adam Brothers graduated from the UW School of Pharmacy with a PharmD in 2006. After graduation, he completed his pharmacy practice residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison. He returned to Seattle to take a position with the Bone Marrow Transplant service at Seattle Children’s Hospital, and has recently begun work with the Antimicrobial Stewardship Service.

Christy Weiland-Hamilton, PharmD

Christy Weiland-Hamilton graduated from the UW School of Pharmacy with a PharmD in 2007. After graduation, she completed a pharmacy practice residency at St. Louis College of Pharmacy/Mercy Family Medicine in St. Louis. After residency, she joined the faculty at the University of Wyoming and Fort Collins Family Medicine Residency where she balanced teaching, inpatient practice, and research. In 2012, she headed back to Seattle to take a position at UW Medical Center where she practices with the General Surgery and Surgical ICU team.

Gary Harris

Gary Harris graduated from UW School of Pharmacy with a B.S. in 1972. Gary is one of two original pharmacist Certified Diabetes Educators in Washington state and is a former board member of WADE (Washington Association of Diabetes Educators). He has been active on volunteer boards for years. He has been on the WA Pharmacy Quality Assurance Commission (PQAC) for 10 years, having held the position of Vice Chair and Chair of PQAC in the past. He is the former president of Washington State Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and was awarded the Golden Acorn, which recognizes a volunteer for dedication and service to children and youth. He is the former president of his homeowner’s association and former member of his church council. Gary is a strong supporter of the School and a long time PAA member. He has a deep commitment to the role pharmacists can play in the healthcare system.

Jenny Arnold, PharmD

Jenny graduated from the UW School of Pharmacy with a PharmD in 2006. After graduation, she completed a pharmacy practice residency at Swedish Medical Center and then began working for Kelley-Ross Pharmacy as the clinical services manager. She now works at the Washington State Pharmacy Association as the Director of Professional Development. She is a dedicated advisor to UPPOW and recipient of the 2011 UW School of Pharmacy Outstanding Service Award.

Judi Mar-Burbidge, PharmD

Judi earned her BS in Pharmacy in 1982, and her PharmD in 2000 from the University of Washington. She is currently a patient-centered outcome consultant at Total Therapeutic Management Inc. She also works part time as a consultant pharmacist at North Haven Retirement Home and contract clinical pharmacist at the Seattle Veteran’s Administration. Over the years, she has been a preceptor for students at the UW School of Pharmacy, WSU College of Pharmacy, and at pharmacy-technician programs throughout Seattle. She is also a clinical assistant professor at the UW School of Pharmacy.

Erica Hecker

Erica Hecker is currently a PY4 student with anticipated graduation from the UW School of Pharmacy this upcoming June 2019. During her time as a student she served in many leadership roles including director of professional programs for the Unified Professional Pharmacy Organizations of Washington, director of outreach for Bridges to Health, and Vice President for the Student National Pharmaceutical Association. She hopes to begin a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency after graduation to improve her clinical, research, and teaching skills with a focus on internal medicine, infectious disease, and solid organ transplant.

Michelle Lan

Michelle Lan is currently a third year Doctor of Pharmacy candidate. She completed her undergraduate degree in Bioengineering from UC Berkeley. She became interested in pharmacy during her junior year in college, after getting involved in medication research and several pharmacy outreach events. She moved to Washington State and started pharmacy school in 2016. She has a passion for community health education and served as the Director of Education for American Society of Consultant Pharmacy (ASCP). During second year of pharmacy school, Michelle led a project to bring community educational lectures to a local nursing home. Now as the president of Rho Chi Honor Society, she plans to expand the project to reach more patients around the Seattle area. She also has lots of passion in promoting collaboration and cultivating a friendly learning environment for pharmacy students, by organizing clinical topic discussions in pharmacy school. She aims to keep sharpening her clinical and patient care skills during and beyond pharmacy school.

Scott Herzog, PharmD

Scott Herzog earned his PharmD from the University of Washington in 2003. Currently Scott is a pharmacist and Chief Operations Officer for Kelley-Ross Pharmacy Group. Before joining Kelley-Ross Scott was the director of pharmacy at Kindred Hospital in Seattle. He has served on the Washington State Pharmacy Association Board of Directors and is a clinical associate professor with the UW School of Pharmacy.
