Michelle Lan is currently a third year Doctor of Pharmacy candidate. She completed her undergraduate degree in Bioengineering from UC Berkeley. She became interested in pharmacy during her junior year in college, after getting involved in medication research and several pharmacy outreach events. She moved to Washington State and started pharmacy school in 2016. She has a passion for community health education and served as the Director of Education for American Society of Consultant Pharmacy (ASCP). During second year of pharmacy school, Michelle led a project to bring community educational lectures to a local nursing home. Now as the president of Rho Chi Honor Society, she plans to expand the project to reach more patients around the Seattle area. She also has lots of passion in promoting collaboration and cultivating a friendly learning environment for pharmacy students, by organizing clinical topic discussions in pharmacy school. She aims to keep sharpening her clinical and patient care skills during and beyond pharmacy school.
