Gary Harris graduated from UW School of Pharmacy with a B.S. in 1972. Gary is one of two original pharmacist Certified Diabetes Educators in Washington state and is a former board member of WADE (Washington Association of Diabetes Educators). He has been active on volunteer boards for years. He has been on the WA Pharmacy Quality Assurance Commission (PQAC) for 10 years, having held the position of Vice Chair and Chair of PQAC in the past. He is the former president of Washington State Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and was awarded the Golden Acorn, which recognizes a volunteer for dedication and service to children and youth. He is the former president of his homeowner’s association and former member of his church council. Gary is a strong supporter of the School and a long time PAA member. He has a deep commitment to the role pharmacists can play in the healthcare system.
