- Essay Question 1: What motivates you to pursue the Plein Certificate in Geriatric Pharmacy? You may draw on your personal, academic, and/or work-related experiences. (Maximum 500 words)
- Essay Question 2: Describe your personal goals for your own future in geriatric pharmacy practice and how completion of the Plein Certificate in Geriatric Pharmacy will help you meet your goal. (Maximum 1000 words)
- Essay Question 3 (optional: must be completed to be considered for scholarships): Describe your greater vision for the future of geriatric pharmacy practice. Responses to this prompt will inform the Plein Center leadership team’s decision on who will be awarded a Baxter Scholarship or a Leland Scholarship. (maximum 1000 words)
- Note: Your application must reflect your own ideas and experiences. Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools may be used only to improve clarity, grammar, or formatting, not to generate content. Submissions that do not follow this policy may be disqualified from acceptance into the Certificate and/or scholarship consideration.
Timeline
Applications are due in late October. The Plein Center leadership team reviews applications in November. We will notify you of our admissions decision by early December. Recipients of the Baxter Scholarships and Leland Scholarships will also be notified in December. Payment #1 is due February.
