Larissa Robinson-Cooper Named to Washington Fellows Program

Larissa Robinson-Cooper, a PhD candidate in Melissa Barker-Haliski’s lab in the #SoP Department of Pharmaceutics, was recently named by #ASPET among 13 awardees to participate in the 2025-2026 Washington Fellows Program. The program offers developing and early-career scientists interested in science policy an opportunity to learn about and engage in public policy issues.

“I’m honored to be selected for the 2025-2026 ASPET Washington Fellows Cohort,” said Larissa. “Now more than ever, it is important for scientists to learn how to effectively advocate for our research and the funding that supports it. I’m grateful to have this unique and exciting opportunity to learn more about science policy, and travel to Capitol Hill to support policies that promote biomedical research.”
