These Workgroups are carefully considering this phase of curricular design with attention to the integration structure, identifying targeted curricular outcomes, and outlining courses necessary to achieve programmatic and accreditation goals. Student Representatives from our Dean’s Advisory Council of Students, Curriculum Committee and Assessment Committee come together as a quarterly focus group to help inform the process. We plan to launch our new PharmD curriculum with the students entering the program in Autumn Quarter 2019. This will allow sufficient time for continued collaboration, course development, orientation of faculty, students, and preceptors, and will enable a transition that ensures successful launch of the new curriculum while maintaining the outstanding education and support for students in the current curriculum.
