Members of the Curricular Innovation team met for a “meeting of the minds” with several of our stakeholders in practice, including local preceptors who work with our students (and who are future employers of our graduates). These practice partners provided valuable input to inform our curricular innovation proposal, with particular attention to practice site needs and ideas for experiential education, pre-APPE (Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences) assessment and readiness, APPE logistics and mentoring between students, terminology suggestions, practice management topics, and more. The group will gather for additional meetings to further help inform the curricular model and implementation phase.
