2021 Impact Report
UW SCHOOL OF PHARMACY LEADING BY EXAMPLE
In the wake of the most trying health crisis our nation has experienced, the UW School of Pharmacy’s faculty, staff and students have played a significant role in addressing the pandemic. They are at the forefront of new discoveries, innovative education and providing critical services to communities in need. Our students and faculty are leading COVID-19 vaccination efforts, pioneering research across the scientific spectrum, from HIV to epilepsy. Our faculty and staff are educating the next generation of diverse leaders in pharmacy practice and pharmaceutical sciences. I am proud of their work, and honored to lead the School through this difficult period. Though the pandemic challenges us every day, we remain focused on our mission – to meet the changing healthcare needs of our community with compassion, kindness, empathy and concern for each and every person.
