Wednesdays in Practice was something unique that set apart UW’s program from others. Seattle also has good transportation system, and internship opportunities.

What led you to study pharmacy?

My interest in mechanisms of action from a young age.

What experiences at the UW have been / were the most influential to you?

Internship at UWMC Montlake. I learned how inpatient operations work, performed discharge medication reconciliation, and managed vancomycin.

What do you want to do following your UW education?

Work remotely as PharmD covering “night shifts” for my organization and travel the world.

What is one piece of advice that you have for potential new students or one thing you wish you knew before beginning your studies?

Consider reading the NAPLEX book, it has great information relevant to therapeutics content.

What is a fun or interesting fact about you?

I am trilingual! English, Spanish, French
