I love the climate of the PNW

What led you to study pharmacy?

I am interested in ground-level patient interaction and pharmacy felt like the right next step from my undergraduate biochemistry degree.

What experiences at the UW have been the most influential to you?

My WIP (Wednesdays in Practice) rotations and the RSOs I have participated in thus far have supported my education fantastically.

What do you want to do following your UW education?

Enter the pharmaceutical industry sector.

Tell us about your in-school activities?

I am part of the Kappa Psi pharmaceutical fraternity, AMCP (managed care), and iPHO (industry) organizations.

What is one piece of advice that you have for potential new students or one thing you wish you knew before beginning your studies?

Talk to your classmates and teachers! Work together so that everyone’s learning can be supported. You are not alone. We all want you to succeed.

What is a fun or interesting fact about you?

Big Costco fan.
