Tell us why you chose UW.

I chose UW for the beautiful, classic college campus feel while being right in the middle of the city of Seattle!

What led you to study pharmacy?

I have been a pharmacy technician since I was 17, which helped me find my love for pharmacy. I love the connections you build with patients, and the impact pharmacists can have on their community.

What experiences at the UW have been the most influential to you?

Making connections and friends that I know are going to last a lifetime.

What do you want to do following your UW education?

I hope to continue working in community pharmacy while pursuing a career in academia.

What are your future aspirations or goals?

My dream is to be a pharmacy school professor!

Tell us about your in-school activities?

I am currently a student ambassador and a member of the Dean’s Advisory Committee.

What is one piece of advice that you have for potential new students or one thing you wish you knew before beginning your studies?

Find your why. I know it sounds cheesy but knowing why you’re here and why you’re working so hard makes everything worth it.

What is a fun or interesting fact about you?

I have 3 cats! Breadcrumb, Bean and Zuko. They are my absolute pride and joy.

Is there anything else you’d like to share?

Pharmacy school or any graduate program is going to be hard, but it is also very fun and rewarding!
