About Christina Bockman

Christina Bockman, PharmD., is a UW pharmacist specializing in complex acute and chronic pain management. She is a founding member and team leader for the UW Pain and Opioid Provider Phoneline and currently manages the service overseeing its development and expansion. She also serves as an expert panelist for the weekly UW Telepain program.

Dr. Bockman’s clinical interests include the management of acute and chronic pain with a special interest in the management of pain in patients with opioid tolerance and substance use disorder. She enjoys teaching and providing accessible pain management education to clinicians to support patients in receiving effective and safe pain care.

Dr. Bockman received her PharmD degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and then went on to complete two years of pharmacy residency; one year of which focused on pain management and palliative care, at UW Medicine. She has over 10 years’ experience in the field of in and out-patient pain management.

Outside of work, Dr. Bockman enjoys spending time with her family in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
