Alvin is a clinical associate professor with the Schools of Pharmacy and Medicine teaching pharmacy students, pharmacy residents, and family medicine residents.

He provides clinical pharmacy services at the Harborview Family Medicine Clinic practicing collaboratively with patients, providers, and integrated with daily patient care activities.

He has received the Family Medicine Residency Faculty Teaching Award, UW Medicine Harborview CARES Award, and past recipient of the UW School of Pharmacy’s Wayne A Kradjan Excellence in Clinical Teaching and Gibaldi Excellence in Teaching Award.
