COVID-19 Health and Safety Protocols:
Following UW policy, masks are highly recommended. Verification of vaccination status or proof of a negative test for COVID-19 are not required for entry into the ceremony. Anyone experiencing symptoms must stay home, and is encouraged to participate via the livestream.

CLASS OF 2023 STUDENT ADDRESS
Jordan Afaga (PharmD Candidate) received his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Jordan started his journey as a certified pharmacy technician at CVS, then continued to intern at CVS in Renton and the University of Washington Medical Center – Montlake.
Jordan served as one of the representatives in the Dean’s Advisory Council of Students, where he played an active role in being a liaison between faculty and students. Jordan was also the social coordinator for the Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity Incorporated and enjoyed planning events and socials. Endorsing a “work hard, play hard” spirit, Jordan would spend his free time training for marathons, paddleboarding, snowboarding, thrift shopping, sewing, and hanging out with pharmacy friends.
