Congratulations to Felipe Montano-Campos, a third-year PhD student in Health Economics and Outcomes Research at the CHOICE Institute, has been awarded the Fellowship from the Latino Center for Health. An interdisciplinary health sciences research center at the University of Washington, the Latino Center for Health is committed to improving the health and well-being of Latinx individuals, families, and communities in Washington state.

Felipe’s current work focuses on modeling precision screening for cancer patients and examining how patient-doctor concordance in race/ethnicity and gender can enhance treatment and medical testing adherence. Specifically, he’s interested in how these factors contribute to improved health outcomes among Latinx populations.
