CHOICE Certificate Programs: New Names, Same Excellence — Applications Now Open for Fall 2026

CHOICE is pleased to announce that applications are open for our two certificate programs for Fall 2026, now featuring updated names that better reflect each program’s focus and application in today’s healthcare landscape. New program websites are also live, and their expanded content makes it easy to explore everything these programs have to offer.

While the names are new, the programs deliver the same practical, job-relevant training valued by working professionals in health economics and outcomes research — with the same online, asynchronous format designed to fit the demands of busy careers and lives.

Both certificates emphasize real-world application and content designed with current industry needs in mind. They offer flexibility for professionals working full-time in any time zone, while still providing meaningful opportunities for networking and building connections in the field.

The Certificate in Health Economics, Health Technology Assessment, and Market Access

Formerly the Certificate in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR)

This certificate maintains the strengths of our legacy HEOR program while renewing the focus on HTA and market access. Students will master the economic principles that guide healthcare decision-making, the analytic methods that underpin robust economic evaluation, and the diverse approaches used by HTA bodies and payer organizations around the world.

Whether students enroll from industry, government, academia, clinical practice, or consulting, this certificate will strengthen their ability to navigate the complex interplay between clinical evidence, cost-effectiveness, value assessment, and market access and pricing strategies.

Upcoming Information Sessions:

The Certificate in Data Science Methods for Real-World Evidence in Health

Formerly the Certificate in Data Science in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR)

This program continues to equip professionals with the tools to gain valuable insights from vast amounts of real-world health data. Drawing on real healthcare examples, this certificate emphasizes the why, when, and how of data science in health: why a particular method is appropriate for a given research question, when its results should (and should not) be trusted, and how findings can be interpreted to inform real-world decisions in clinical, regulatory, and commercial settings.

This certificate helps decision-makers understand what real-world data can (and cannot) tell us, how to choose and trust analytic methods, and how to translate results into sound decisions.

Upcoming Information Sessions:
