Alumnus Glen Schumock, ’89, named Dean of the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy

Congratulations to University of Washington School of Pharmacy alumnus Glen Schumock, ’89, who will become Dean of the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy! His appointment is effective January 1, 2018, pending approval by the University of Illinois Board of Trustees. Schumock earned his baccalaureate in pharmacy from Washington State University and received his doctor of pharmacy from the University of Washington, Seattle. He earned an MBA and a Ph.D. from UIC, and completed residency and fellowship training at the University of Washington, Seattle and at UIC. He has held clinical pharmacist and managerial positions in hospital pharmacies and is a licensed pharmacist in Illinois and Washington. Congratulations, Glen!
