UW Student Becomes First-Ever Pharmacy Student to Be Named a Schweitzer Fellow

Second-year pharmacy student Elise Fields has become the first pharmacy student ever to receive a Lambarene Public Health Fellowship from the Albert Schweitzer Foundation. She will spend the summer working on a tuberculosis medication safety project at the Schweitzer Hospital in Lambarene, Gabon, West Central Africa. Read more.
