Research: My general research areas are pharmacogenomics/genomics and the ethical, social, and legal implications (ELSI) of genomic research with Native American and other indigenous populations. I’m involved in various projects studying hepatic transcriptomes and genetic variation, tobacco cessation and metabolism, vitamin D metabolism and regulatory genes, and examining the perspectives of American Indian/Alaska Native people regarding genetic research in their communities
