Thesis/Research Topic: The overall goal of my dissertation project is to elucidate the pathways and mechanisms that drive subcutaneously administered anti-HIV drug combination nanoparticles to (1) enhance antiretroviral drug levels in HIV host cells in the lymphatic system and the blood and (2) exhibit long-acting pharmacokinetics in both the plasma and these HIV host cells. I am employing in vitro, in vivo, and in silico approaches to test the most significant hypotheses related to this overall goal.
