Give to the Department of Pharmacy

pharmacy-photoThe Department of Pharmacy faculty are responsible for teaching a substantial portion of the PharmD curriculum, specifically in pharmacy administration, therapeutics, practice and outcomes. The Department of Pharmacy has an established Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Outcomes Research and Policy (PORPP). The department supports general and specialized pharmacy residencies, and research fellowships in select areas of pharmacotherapeutics.

Fund for Excellence in the Department of Pharmacy
This fund supports the Department of Pharmacy.

Pharmacy Practice Fund for Excellence
General support for the Department of Pharmacy. Provides funds for faculty development including expenses related to conferences, speakers, travel, supplies and honoraria.

PORPP Fund for Excellence
This fund provides unrestricted support for PORPP. Unrestricted gifts provide the flexibility to direct funds where the need is greatest. Gifts to this fund can support faculty recruitment and research, board activities and fellowship and travel awards for deserving PORPP students.

Community and Ambulatory Residency Fund
This fund supports the operations of the School of Pharmacy Practice Residency Program in Community and Ambulatory Residencies.

The Penny Evans UW International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) Student Chapter Support FundĀ 
This fund will support student activities within the ISPOR Student Chapter.

Geriatric Pharmacy Program
The Program in Geriatrics encompasses training, research, and service with a focus on the optimal use of pharmacotherapy in older adults to improve disease management and appropriate use of medication in older adults.

Institute for Innovative Pharmacy Practice (I2P2)
I2P2 will draw on our recognized strengths in senior care, pharmacy management and groundbreaking community health programs to address your practice needs. An I2P2 pharmacist understands the importance of caring for their customers and generating revenue. Pharmaceutical Care Lab Fund
This fund supports the Bracken Pharmaceutical Care Learning Center, which provides an optimal environment for students and practitioners to learn the technical and clinical skills needed for patient-focused care.

Pharmacy Continuing Education Gift Fund
Provides support to continuing pharmacy education programs and activities.

Pharmacy Education and Research Fund
Supports educational and research activities in the Department of Pharmacy.

Pharmacy Management Programs
Gift to this fund support activities related to the Department of Pharmacy.

PHEnOM (Program in Health Economics and Outcomes Methodology)
To create an interdepartmental fund to support the new PHEnOM Health Services Economics program, funding workshops, speakers and event hosting.
