Sidney D. Nelson Commemorative Symposium

Symposium Title: "Reactive Metabolites and Toxicity"
Sid in labcoatThursday, October 18, 2012
1:00 pm to 5:30 pm
Room Cortez AB, Anatole Hotel, Dallas, Texas
A reception with tray-passed appetizers and wine will follow in the Coronado A Room at 5:30 pm.

All participants of the North American Regional Meeting of the International Society for the Study of Xenobiotics are invited to commemorate the scientific career of the late Professor Sidney (Sid) D. Nelson. The Symposium will be a celebration of Sid’s life with presentations from his past students and collaborators.

"Reactive Metabolites and Toxicity" will take place as an adjunct to the 18th North American Regional Meeting of ISSX. It is scheduled to follow on from an ISSX symposium chaired earlier that Thursday morning, October 18, by Prof. Paul Hollenberg as part of the regular ISSX scientific program. There is no registration fee for attending the Nelson commemorative symposium, and ISSX is offering a special one-day registration rate for those interested in participating in more of the ISSX meeting.

Make a gift to the Sid Nelson Memorial Fund.
Gifts to this fund will support the creation of a Sid Nelson Endowed Professorship in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry.
