Regulatory Pharmaceutical Fellowship
General Position Description:
The Regulatory Pharmaceutical Fellowship in Drug Information is a two-year, learning based program designed to train pharmacists for careers in government, academia, or the pharmaceutical industry. The fellow will spend a 9-month rotation at the Food and Drug Administrationʼs (FDA) Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) (Silver Spring, MD); a 9-month rotation at Eli Lilly and Company (Indianapolis, IN); and a 6-month rotation with Purdue University School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (Indianapolis, IN). Deliverables include a research project completed at each training site summarizing experiences gained, a teaching portfolio, a continuing education presentation, and an individualized regulatory project. Chosen candidates will have various educational experiences in cross-functional departments and have opportunities to publish articles and/or give presentations. Qualified candidates must be a graduate from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy, or otherwise eligible for licensure, prior to the start of the fellowship term.
The Fellowship begins July 2012 and continues until June 2014, with a competitive annual stipend and benefits.
