Given that your school may have students with interest in post-graduate opportunities in Government, Academia, and the Pharmaceutical Industry, I would like to bring to your attention the Regulatory Pharmaceutical Fellowship Program jointly sponsored by FDA's CDER Division of Drug Information, Purdue University College of Pharmacy, and Eli Lilly and Company.

General Position Description:
The Regulatory Pharmaceutical Fellowship in Drug Information is a two-year, learning based program designed to train pharmacists for careers in government, academia, or the pharmaceutical industry. The fellow will spend a 9-month rotation at the Food and Drug Administrationʼs (FDA) Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) (Silver Spring, MD); a 9-month rotation at Eli Lilly and Company (Indianapolis, IN); and a 6-month rotation with Purdue University School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (Indianapolis, IN). Deliverables include a research project completed at each training site summarizing experiences gained, a teaching portfolio, a continuing education presentation, and an individualized regulatory project. Chosen candidates will have various educational experiences in cross-functional departments and have opportunities to publish articles and/or give presentations. Qualified candidates must be a graduate from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy, or otherwise eligible for licensure, prior to the start of the fellowship term.

The Fellowship begins July 2012 and continues until June 2014, with a competitive annual stipend and benefits.
